DeWalt advertises that you should be able to get 2000 charges out of these batteries. I got at the most 50. This is flawed technology. I'm now stuck with 800 dollars worth of useless tools. Stuck second in charger and 3 flashing lights ( defective battery). Mailed Amazon and was told to mail Dewalt, Dewalt never answered. Called the hotline , told battery's not covered and told to contact Amazon. Send Amazon second mail and no reply. I buy a lot of stuff from here and this is the first problem I have ever experienced but to know that there is absolutely no support for defective items is an eyeopener, now I shop with that in mind. Saving a few bucks with Amazon does not make up for a dead $143 battery. No help from Amazon, and none from Dewalt. I own so much Dewalt equipment, I don't want to begin to count them. But when something like this happens, it tarnishes their reputation to me so badly that I have serious doubts I would ever buy one of their products again.
